Dulux Landscape Art Prize and Exhibition


Dulux and The Hepburn Springs Swiss & Italian Festa present the 2015 Dulux Landscape Art Prize and Exhibition. Proudly supported by The Convent Gallery, Daylesford.

Call for Entries – The Hepburn Springs Swiss & Italian Festa is in its 23rd consecutive year. Once again Dulux is the proud sponsor of the Landscape Art Prize.


The prizes will be announced on the opening night of the Festa on Wednesday October 21st .
All entries will be on exhibition and for sale at The Convent Gallery until the end of the Festa on Sunday October 25th.

The Swiss & Italian Festa seeks works that best capture the essence of the landscape of Central Victoria. The Landscape Art Prize is open to all.

The Swiss & Italian Festa celebrates the region’s rich history. Entrants are encouraged to submit works that capture this unique location and to explore this year’s theme There is no place like home (Non c ’è nessun posto come casa).

Entries and Delivery
Entries together with completed entry form and fee must be delivered to The Convent Gallery, Daylesford between 1-4pm on Monday October 19th.

Entry Fee
$15 per entry to help cover the cost of running the exhibition.

Collection after the Exhibition
Unsold artworks must be collected from The Convent Gallery, Daylesford on Monday October 26th between 1-4pm


A commission of 25% will be charged on sale of exhibit. Net proceeds of the sale will be paid within seven working days upon presentation of invoice.

Peoples Choice
Visitors can pay a gold coin to register to vote for their choice. The artist whose work gets the most votes will receive this money.

Opening and Presentation of Prize
The exhibition will be opened on Wednesday October 21st at 6:30pm by the Swiss & Italian Festa committee who will announce the winner of the $1000 Landscape Art Prize, $500 for second place and $250 for third. Submitting artists are invited to attend. Please RSVP (essential) to info@swissitalianfesta.com by Monday October 12th if you would like to attend.


  • Entries must depict a landscape within the central highlands area of Victoria. Landscapes can be either natural or built i.e. depicting buildings in the landscape
  • Must be for sale
  • Must be original works
  • Must be clearly marked with artist’s name and work’s title
  • Must be of durable material, suitably framed/mounted and prepared for display
  • Can be any two dimensional medium but not a photograph
  • Should not exceed one metre square
  • No more than three entries per person
  • Exhibitors are responsible for transport to and from the exhibition

The organisers will take all care but will not accept responsibility for loss or damage. Exhibitors are advised to arrange their own insurance.
