Jennifer Feller
Jennifer Feller, an award winning modern impressionist, trained and worked as a graphic artist in London and Melbourne.
She has since engaged in many different forms of artistic expression, including production of highly successful home wares, designing children’s clothing and interior design. Oil painting, however, is Jennifer’s greatest passion.
Her extensive worldwide travels have inspired Jennifer over the years; painting periods in the South of France in particular have influenced her range and sensitive impressionism.
Her work is now widely appreciated, and rests in private collections across Australia and Overseas.
Jennifer’s highly individual style is rich and emotional. Her landscapes teem with the vivid light and dancing shade redolent of the Dandenong Ranges where she now lives, and her ‘Still Life’ studies are intense with atmospheric detail.
In particular her figure paintings draw in the spectator, inviting the public into a new world of whispering secrets and paths leading into endlessly hinted possibilities. Thoughtful figures follow their own private and provocative stories within the gleam of sparkling sunshine and the beauty of surrounding nature.
