The sculptures are widely ranging; from the massive 400lb ‘Metamorphosis’, hand carved steel, a wrap, a leaf, a women stretching near to the roof to the whimsical ‘Fleur to Lis” stainless steel, blushingly erotic in movement. Mid room stands a perfect replica of a Victorian baby’s pram (l988).
Without any doubt, the skill of a master, his complete understanding of his medium, in finish and engineering prowess is obvious. The steel so expertly ground has an organic, wood like appearance… simultaneously an artist with the power to watch, revere and portray his subject with love and appreciation.
Always producing, mostly solo he has survived as a full time sculptor – working via commission, mainly corporate.
