The Altar Bar – a great place to enjoy a Convent cocktail in the afternoon sun, a mulled wine by the fire or coffee catch-up with friends.
On the ground floor, between the Gift shop and function rooms, you will find the Altar Bar. A contemporary and stylish bar and lounge, the Altar Bar offers a selection of light snacks, wines and cocktails.
Open most weekends over lunch period, or by appointment.
It is also available for private hire, day or night.
Many wedding celebrations end with the after-party in the Altar bar.
Architectural features include the original altar from the chapel. Found in the shed, the altar was repurposed enhancing the décor, thus giving the bar its name – the Altar bar.
Whether its an intimate rendezvous or a vibrant get together, the Altar Bar provides a stylish and seductive backdrop for any occasion.
